Muar, being the largest furniture export district in Malaysia, gave birth to the idea of Muar Furniture City. Also known as Muar Timber Industrial Park, this will be entitled Malaysia's first Furniture Hub.

The project spans approximately 986 acres of land in Bakri, Muar, allowing the ability to house about 200 companies and their respective factories that will provide industries such as wood trading, furniture manufacturing, and other wood-based services.
